Why you should support small businesses

Small businesses are the foundations of the business world. They start off small and usually get very little recognition without the right resources, and they typically don't get much revenue. A lot of the time these people (including me) love what they do and don't want to give up on their work because they put so much time, effort, and money into it.
It's so important to support these people to get their name out there, helping them climb the ladder to get recognition and support, even if you aren't interested in what they're selling. A good way to help is to share their business with others, and potentially invest in what they're buying if you are interested.
Most small business owners just want people to see their work. For me personally, I don't mind if people don't buy anything from me, I just want people to see what I'm capable of, and this usually resonates with a lot of people. I don't put my art out there to say 'you have to buy this and give me money', I put it out there to share my art with others and convey emotions into pieces. This is the entire reason why I have started this business, because I will most likely be selling pieces for free so that people who don't want to buy but want to own a piece.
